Dr. Mahnaz is passionate about working with young patients, being a positive influence during their formative years, and ensuring their early dental experiences are enjoyable. She takes great pride in educating children about their dental health and teaching them how to maintain strong, healthy smiles. The connections she builds with her patients, along with the lessons she learns from each child, make her work both technically and emotionally rewarding.
When a child arrives for their first dental visit feeling nervous or unsure, Dr. Mahnaz takes the time to talk with them, explain what to expect, and reassure them. She introduces them to the dental equipment and tools, describing how each one works and what they will feel like. She believes that when children understand the process, they become more comfortable—and often, their curiosity takes over. She finds great joy in seeing a child return for their next visit excited, confident, and eager to share their latest news.
Dr. Mahnaz is a strong advocate for lifelong learning. Pediatric dentistry is a constantly evolving field, with new advancements in treatment techniques and technology emerging regularly. She is dedicated to staying up to date with these innovations by attending professional dental meetings, seminars, and hands-on training sessions. This passion led Dr. Mahnaz to become a dentist 25 years ago, and she has cherished the opportunity to serve families in the Cupertino community for the past 17 years.

Qualifications
Although she has lived in several states throughout her education and career, Dr. Mahnaz now calls Palo Alto home. Her husband, Nick Gorgani, is also a pediatric dentist in Los Altos. Together, they have two children, who are the light of her life. Outside of her practice, Dr. Mahnaz loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, and staying active. She enjoys walking, skiing, kickboxing, and playing ping pong. A food enthusiast, she also delights in shopping for fresh ingredients and cooking.
